The Postcard Project – a slow viral movement

So inspired by this piece of truth … “The more I digitize, the more I yearn for slower tech.”… I am starting a slow viral movement, taking travel blogging back to paper and pen.. Welcome to the Postcard project.

Suitably Scruffy

Suitably Scruffy

Pick a photo from the blog, preferably one you like and i’ll send you a real postcard of the image you choose, so for once you’ll get more than a summons / bill / advertisement in the mail.

What’s the catch you ask?

None really, well two or three minor conditions and ones optional.

1 – Send me a pic of yourself and the postcard, when it arrives, sharing a moment.

2 – Make a donation directly to one of these fine charities. Or both. Or don’t and be wracked by guilt. Your choice.

The Put Foot Foundation or Sustainable Coffee Bay

3 – show me some love via your social networks and subscribe to my blog … Pretty please.

Sign up below, weird, insulting and fake names accepted, and a postal address, you know like a real address, and then wait around until it arrives. Sound good? Get to it then.

    I would love a postcard! πŸ˜€

Love sending postcards to my friends overseas, and receiving snail-mail is so much more special than an email IMO πŸ™‚

Fantastic idea! Love all post that is handwritten, and love postcards from far away or traveling friends! Hoping this isn’t lost entirely on the current/next generation. Thanks for the offer! πŸ™‚
